1. Your Telephone face plates are finished.

The Cable outlets are left exposed (no faceplate) in accordance with the local cable company requirements.

The telephone/cable underground service is typically in the side yard beside the garage. Our standard is to install the telephone/cable wires from the interior of the house to the garage adjacent the exterior service.

The connection from a house to a utility company is the responsibility of the Homeowner.

2. The 'Typical' local utilities in Kingston are:

Domestic Water/Sewer/Hot Water Rental:

The connection from a house to a utility company is the responsibility of the Homeowner.

If your postal code is not yet online, please call their customer service 1-800-267-1177.

If they cannot give you the postal code on the phone, please ensure that you leave appropriate contact information with Canada Post to contact you when it is assigned.

5. Any Additions/Alterations to your home/lot should be verified with the City of Kingston: www.cityofkingston.ca/business/development/index.asp

6. This is detailed in Section 19 of your purchase and sale agreement.

7. The tree is installed by the City of Kingston (may vary by location). Contact the City of Kingston 546-0000 for assistance.

9. Your thermostat controls the temperature in the room that the thermostat is in. In order to exchange air with all rooms, you must switch your thermostat fan switch from AUTO to ON. Running your furnace fan will help keep the entire house at one temperature. Rooms on the north side of a house and/or over a garage will lose heat faster than the rest of the house


10. A 7 day exemption from the Water Ban can be obtained through the City Of Kingston or downloaded here and submitted to the Kingston office at 1211 John Counter Blvd.  The exeption permit is the responsibilty of the home owner to obtain and a standard fee of $55.00 + GST will apply.
